What did the idea stand for?

Brand Values.

We started building the identity by deciding what our brand stood for, and how we wanted it to be perceived by the audience. Petrichor is associated with the first rain of the year, and embodies a fresh start. It helps plants grow, and nurtures everything it touches.

Moodboarding.

We wanted the audience to connect the brand with nature, and have an earthy feel to it. Following these ideas, I moodboarded for inspiration for possible branding directions.

What did I create?

The Logo.

The Logo is designed on Montserrat, adjusted along the ends for a more rounded, earthy feel. The logo has a pair of leaves, which is also mirrors a mother nurturing a child. The ascenders and the tittle were also adapted to fit the theme of nature.

After designing the brand, I collated guidelines for our online presence, and worked on social media assets for our handles on LinkedIn and Instagram. This also included creator content, and designs for Instagram Ads.
